Abstracts is a collage of moods, ideas and feelings which explore different sonorities within the band and has a very important integral Percussion/Timpani component.
There are two versions of the piece available
Advanced: Contains difficult running passages, cross rhythms and technical difficulty. It requires very proficient principal players especially the Eb Soprano Cornet player.
Senior Level: Although still challenging, this version does not have the difficult running passages, cross rhythms and technical difficulty of the advanced version. View the senior version.
